Al Pacino has joined the cast of 'Gotti: Three Generations' starring John Travolta. Pacino is set to play Neil Dellacroce who was the Gambino crime family’s underboss when John Gotti came into power.
Al Pacino will join a cast that already includes movie heavy weights such as Joe Pesci, and John Travolta's wife Kelly Preston. The film will be directed by Barry Levinson who won an Oscar for ‘Rain Man’ staring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman.
Levinson will also be joined by James Toback who won awards for screen writing the film 'Bugsy' staring Warren Beatty.
Al Pacino is widely regarded as one of the best actors of a generation. He is probably best known for breathing life into two of the most widely recognizable film gangsters in movie history as Michael Corleane in the ‘Godfather’ films and Tony Montana in “Scarface“.
With the addition of Al Pacino to the cast, this will certainly raise the profile of the film. With a cast that already has Al Pacino and Joe Pesci all they need now is Robert De Niro.
