John Travolta reportedly will portray mob boss John Gotti in an upcoming biopic, a Hollywood veteran says.
Travolta met with Marty Ingels Monday at Amici, a Brentwood, Calif., eatery, where they discussed the project, CNN reported.
Travolta played it close to the vest when asked if he was going to play the Dapper Don, but Marty Ingels, executive producer of the movie, was less shy telling a TMZ crew, "Travolta's going to play the life of John Gotti. That's why we were meeting."
Gotti died in 2002 while serving a lifetime prison sentence.
TMZ reports James Franco has been cast as John Gotti Jr.
